Helen Melshen

Hello Taylor Owls,

Coach Melshen here, your Health and Physical Education Teacher at W. H. Taylor Elementary School. I've been a Health and Physical Educator for 9 years. I'm a proud UVA-Wise Alumni "GO CAVS GO", where I studied education, ran cross-country and actively participated in intramurals. Even though, I went to college 8 hours away I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia. I have two brothers, one older named Pat and one younger named Paul. I live in Ghent with my black Cat Gotham. When I'm not teaching or at my home, I enjoy long walks at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens with friends.
